At-Home COVID TESTING

On January 18, 2022, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and Department of Public Health (DPH) announced the start of a new COVID-19 at-home testing protocol. In the Tri-Town School Union, we will begin this new At-Home Testing Program the week of February 14, 2022.

As part of this new At-Home COVID-19 Testing Program, the Test-and-Stay Program will be phased out and in-school contact tracing will be used only on a very limited basis as determined by public health. As you know from the current pandemic protocols, please keep your child (and yourself, if you are a staff member) home if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

To participate in the new At-Home COVID-19 Testing Program, please click the "Sign Up for At-Home Testing Program" button above and fill out the form. Participants will receive one test kit (with two at-home tests) every two weeks. Please test your child (yourself, if you are a staff member) weekly on Sunday using this at-home test. If your child (or you, if you are a staff member) tests positive, stay home and please report this positive test result using the "Report Positive Test Result" button above and contact the school nurse.

This program is completely voluntary, and only those who sign up and opt-in will receive at-home COVID-19 tests every two weeks. If you have any questions about this program, please contact your child's school for more information. At-home tests are intended exclusively for students enrolled in the Tri-Town School Union and staff of the Tri-Town School Union.
